Hiring Charges

Notes:

‘Residents’ refers to established inhabitants of Seagry, Startley and Great Somerford villages.
For Seagry village resident only there will be a 25% reduction in quoted rates for private functions i.e. parties, receptions etc. For Wedding packages the Seagry resident reduction is 10%.
Hire includes the use of tables, chairs, electricity, Wi-Fi Broadband, heating and kitchen facilities.
Charges will be likely for any additional cleaning, repairs or loss replacement if found necessary. This includes the refilling / replacement of fire fighting equipment if used in a non-fire situation.

HIRE OF TABLECLOTHS £8.50 each (Laundry cost)

Short period (up to one day), one-off or occasional bookings:- full hire fee payment will be required at the time of booking. Regular hirers booking fees must be paid monthly in advance.
Should any hirer later cancel the booking the fee will be forfeit unless the Trustees are able to secure an alternative equivalent hiring.
A Security bond of £100.00 or other amount as advised at the time of the booking, and shown on the payment invoice, will be returned approx. one week after the event providing there are no issues resulting from the hiring.
Bookings for larger events with a long forward notice such as weddings etc may, at the discretion of the Booking Secretary, be secured with a 25% deposit, however the balance must be received at least 12 weeks before the event.
If payments are not received when due then the booking will be deemed to be cancelled.
All monies inc. cheques will be cashed to account upon receipt.
18-year old Birthday parties are not allowed. 19 – 21 age Birthday parties where alcohol is to be available, are subject to separate terms on application and not available for non-residents. Acceptance of all such events will be subject to the discretion of the Trustees.
Party bookings for non-residents may also require an additional security bond as may be set from time to time.
